Over the last 350 years, the heritage collections from the Paris Observatory have grown alongside the research activities, thanks to acquisitions (purchases, donations, bequests from institutional deposits and collections which date back from the French Revolution).
The Library offers the possibility to access directly the collections online through the catalogs. Additionally, the collections are regularly presented in temporary exhibitions held in the Observatory and outside.
