One Sunday, during a moment of sharing and celebration, five high school students were the prestigious guests of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL.
In the solemn room of the Council, under the ancient portraits of famous astronomers, they could attend live by videoconference, the announcement of the prize which was awarded to them on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the European competition EUCYS.

This award was given to them, while 34 countries were competing around 114 projects : a feat !
- The project "Intra Body Communication : "SEE" and use the OEM radiated by the human body " prepared by the students Nahomé VESVARD, Clément DESJONQUERES and Marin LUET (supervised by their physics-chemistry teacher Aurélien LEVIONNAIS, Lycée Charles de Gaulle in Caen, Normandy Academy), received the honors of the European Commission which will welcome the three students during two days in its Joint Research Center based in Ispra, Italy.
- The project "Can we make chemistry with a little drop ?" prepared by the students Louenn COLINEAUX and David BARBIN (supervised by their physics-chemistry teacher Patrice MICHEL, Douanier Rousseau high school in Laval, Nantes academy), was named "Best project of the selection in the category CHEMISTRY". The students will receive 1 000 € paid by EuChemS.
Fabienne Casoli, President of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL praised their performance in these terms :
"Wonderful ! A big bravo to the young high school students for carrying the colors of science so high. And bravo to Sciences à l’École for its support."
Sciences à l’École, the ministerial device hosted by the institution and which works to promote scientific culture in schools, had organized this trip to the capital in their honor.

The students and their teachers were able to enjoy a private tour of the Perrault building, the headquarters of the Paris Observatory, with access to the Arago dome and its 19th century telescope.
