This award crowns an exceptional start to her career, with work developed for the SuperCam instrument, on board the Mars rover Perseverance, at Observatoire de Paris - PSL within the Laboratoire d’études spatiales et d’instrumentation en astrophysique, as part of a post-doc funded by IRIS OCAV.

A member of the Mars 2020 mission, Lucia Mandon is part of the team analyzing data collected by the Franco-American SuperCam instrument. Her aim is to characterize the composition of Martian rocks, with a view to possibly discovering traces of past life.
