Thursday, June 10, occurred an annular eclipse of the Sun, visible in the northern hemisphere. The phenomenon was visible in a partial form in France, from 11:10 am to 1:20 pm. The astronomers of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL have immortalized the show in a rather mild sky.
One of the missions of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL is to monitor the Sun on a daily basis. The astronomers had naturally taken out their instruments and multiplied the observation points to ensure the best conditions to follow the phenomenon, and thus thwarted the hazards of the cloud cover.
