The DU ECU is a diploma intended for holders of a scientific baccalaureate or equivalent.
It allows to acquire, from professional astronomers, a panorama of the current knowledge and the research in progress in astronomy and astrophysics
The courses are taught on the campuses of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL (in Paris and Meudon), by researchers and engineers of the establishment and the Institut d’Astrophysique de Paris, in the form :
◾ of theoretical courses,◾ of tutorials,◾ of practical work,◾ and internships.
This course can be taken:
- in a face-to-face course in the form of classes on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 8 pm at the Paris Observatory,
- or in distance learning by video in the form of courses broadcast live, then made available on the digital platform of the training.
