For its 5th edition, the Star’s Up space festival will be held at Hangar Y, in Meudon, from Thursday September 21 to Sunday September 24, 2023. Join scientists from Observatoire de Paris - PSL, who have been loyal to this major space event since its inception.

The Star’s Up Festival welcomes young and old alike from Thursday September 21 to Sunday September 24, 2023, for 4 days of lectures, screenings, exhibitions, workshops, night sky observations... at Hangar Y in Meudon (92). This free event aims to make scientific knowledge accessible to all.

Seize the opportunity to exchange ideas with researchers and entrepreneurs specializing in space science, aeronautics and aerospace, as well as artists, authors and designers...

◼ Thursday, September 21 and Friday, September 22, 2023: NewSpace symposium

Organized in collaboration with Onera Alumni.

◼ Friday, September 22, 2023: inaugural lecture at 8:30 pm

  • "Exoplanets in the age of the James Webb Space Telescope"
    by Anthony Boccaletti, CNRS research director at Observatoire de Paris - PSL

The lecture will be followed by a time of observation - discovery of the night sky (subject to favorable weather conditions) with the participation of Unistellar and the astro club of the association La Bêta-Pi.

◼ Saturday, September 23, 2023: microlectures, 2pm to 3pm

Among the festival highlights, a series of three short talks given by our astronomers on the festival’s main science stage, starting at 2pm.
