A set of 80 french language publications

Each year, for the last 15 years, a committee of experts and a jury select important research carried out in in French language laboratories, done by keen scientists often working in international laboratories.

For this new edition, a scientific committee met in November 2018 : 80 research papers published between October 2017 and November 2018 were in the running and 33 were retained.

Finally, a jury decided : it was made up of members of the journal, presided by Jean Jouzel, climatologist and co-winner of the Nobel peace prize with the Giec : 11 publications were retained, one in each of the following domains : archeology, astrophysics, biology, chemistry, environment, mathematics, neurosciences, physics, health, informatics, technology), and a special « extra » for a twelfth publication.
