The Paris Observatory was delighted to welcome four young designers, alumni of the "Clothing design" section of the "École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs - Paris" (National school for decorative arts - Paris), whose work was photographed preparatory to the creation of a catalogue for their collection.
A grand total of twelve students constitute the 2016 "Clothing design" graduation of the "École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs — Paris".
It is remarkable for the diversity of the creative worlds, having given birth to many outstanding features, divided in the catalogue into three universes.
One of these universes, based on the exceptional site of the Paris Observatory, can be found in the chapter of the catalogue entitled "At the Observatory" : Elodie Le Prunennec managed to create flexible clothes based on wooden strips, while Loris Ronzeau transposed the hieratic Samourai society to a contemporary society with a touch of nomadism. Christie Duhamel plunges into the watery universe of the swimming pool, while Manon Martin transforms any old sporting attire into an intergalactic uniform.
