Internship agreement contracts

Internship agreement contracts must be established in 5 original copies and carry all original signatures from the parties.

The signing of the agreement contract is a prerequisite : no student will be allowed to start his/her internship as long as the documents have not been signed by all parties.

According to the degree you are pursuing, the signature process may follow two circuits.

First-year Master’s Circuit

  1. Complete 5 COPIES of the convention and get the original signatures from the intern, the intern’s tutor, and the director of the hosting organism (as a rule, the laboratory’s director).
  2. Hand the documents over to Mrs Jacqueline Plancy, who will have them signed by the program’s supervisor before transmitting them to the registrar’s office. Finally, the registrar’s office will submit them to the President of the Observatory for signature.
  3. When all signatures are collected, you will receive an original copy from the registrar’s office. The other copies will be kept by the director of the hosting organism, the Master’s secretariat and the registrar’s office.

Second-year Master’s Circuit

  1. Complete 5 COPIES of the convention and get the original signatures from the intern, the intern’s tutor, and the director of the hosting organism (as a rule, the lab’s director).
  2. Hand the documents over to Mrs Jacqueline Plancy, who will have them signed by the relevant program supervisor : Didier Pelat (program astronomy), Christophe Sauty (program DSG).
  3. The documents will then be transmitted to the registrar’s office in order to get the President’s signature.
  4. When all signatures are collected, the signed contracts will be sent to the student and the hosting laboratory.
