2nd Provence Astronomy Festival

11 avril 2024

The second edition of the Provence Astronomy Festival takes place from April 13 to 20, 2024, and Paris Observatory - PSL is a partner.

Co-organized by astrophysicists from Marseille and amateur astronomers from Provence, this festival aims to showcase the latest advances in astrophysical research, introduce visitors to Provencal astronomy hotspots (such as the Longchamp Astronomical Observatory, the Chateau-Gombert Astrophysics Laboratory and the Haute-Provence Astronomical Observatory), include activities for children (and their families), and of course offer astronomical observations of the sky by day and night.

Sandrine Vinatier, CNRS researcher at LESIA - Observatoire de Paris - PSL, will give a lecture on April 19 at 7pm in Roquefort-la-Bédoule : Les mystères de Titan et le futur de son exploration avec Dragonfly.
