10 March 2026 The Paris Observatory - PSL, in solidarity with the national campaign “A Daffodil Against Cancer”

The staff of the Paris Observatory - PSL are rallying to fight cancer by participating in the connected challenge of the daffodil race, organized as part of the “A Daffodil Against Cancer” campaign led by the Curie Institute.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, marking the start of the campaign, the Observatoire de Paris - PSL is taking on the connected challenge of “La Course de la Jonquille Contre le Cancer” (The Daffodil Race Against Cancer).

Throughout this solidarity initiative, which runs until Sunday, March 22, 2026, its staff, runners, and walkers are committed to collectively covering a total of 3,000 kilometers.

The funds raised will support cancer research and medical innovation at the Institut Curie.

For every kilometer covered, €1 will be donated to the Institut Curie by Allianz, the sponsor of this sporting and charitable event.

*Up to a maximum of 40,000 kilometers covered

If you are an individual and would like to spread hope by covering as many kilometers as possible, at your own pace, walking or running, find out more:
