Come and enjoy a change of scenery amidst the stars on the hills above Meudon and take part, free of charge, in a variety of activities devised by astronomers, some of which have been specifically designed for families…

Two types of tour are available :
- family tour : fun workshops for children (aged 10 and over) and their families, including a visit to a scientific instrument : large refracting telescope, 1-metre telescope or spectroheliograph, etc.
- tour for the curious : for adults and teenagers, featuring interactions with researchers and a tour of some of the Observatory’s facilities.
- Three departure times to choose from : 12 noon, 2 pm or 4 pm.
- Duration : 1 hour 30 minutes
These different tours are indicated on the booking website.
Once a booking has been made, it cannot be changed.
Please note
Most of our activities are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility, but not all. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be aware that there will be some walking outdoors between workshops.
When you make your booking, you will be allocated a group number which cannot be changed. It will not be possible to visit everything or take part in all the workshops.
Any delay will prevent you from taking part in your tour. Please ensure you arrive on time.
