Current European research projects

Europe has developed a highly dense research collaboration network. Within it, the Paris Observatory is involved, as a coordinator or a partner, in numerous projects funded by large European research programmes such as Horizon 2020 and EMPIR.

The Horizon 2020 programme offers various sources of funding within the European Union for research and Innovation focused on three main priorities : excellent science, industrial leadership and societal challenges. The Paris Observatory largely contributes to the Horizon 2020 programme as a coordinator or a partner to a number of projects based on different sources of funding.
