Because these works, the visits are suspended on these two sites.

The Nançay Radio Observatory was born in 1953 with the adaptation of old German military radar installations. Today, the gigantic radiotelescope dominates the forest, but many other instruments have been conceived and are used on the vast site. This visit is done jointly with that of the Pôle des Etoiles, which is just next door.
