Paris and Meudon
The Paris and Meudon sites welcome the public and schoolchildren exclusively for open days during the Fête de la science (October) in Meudon and the European heritage days (3rd weekend in September) in Paris, or for any other special event announced on the website.
Registration required, as indicated on the website a few weeks before the event.
The facility also organizes visits for schoolchildren taking part in the class sponsorship scheme, which enables any teacher wishing to develop an educational project centered on astronomy in his or her class, school, college or lycée to request the help of an astronomer sponsor.
Nançay – Radioastronomy Observatory
Visits are organized by the Pôle des étoiles, a scientific mediation center located near the Observatory.

The Radio Astronomy Observatory also opens its doors during the European Heritage Days.
Virtual Tours of the Sites
As part of the promotion of its heritage, the Paris Observatory offers virtual tours of its three iconic sites.
Through the platform 350ans.obspm.fr, the public is invited to explore online the buildings, instruments, and significant locations that have shaped over three centuries of astronomical research.
