Your reception in the heart of Paris (75)
In the heart of Paris, between the Montparnasse Tower and the Luxembourg Gardens, the Observatoire de Paris - PSL, one of the world’s most active centers in astronomy, astrophysics and related fields, and a university campus, welcomes you: companies, institutions and associations... to organize your events. Our prestigious spaces include :
the Salle Cassini, a white stone cathedral-style hall in the historic Perrault building, combining beauty and originality to host your event. The Paris meridian runs through it. It faces south, towards the park, and north, towards the Luxembourg Gardens and the Sacré Coeur.
It’s on the 1st floor, with a maximum capacity of 100 people (guests and organizing team), and is rented empty, so it’s flexible.
the Arago dome and telescope: unique, on a roof terrace at 40 m, reserved for visits with a minimum capacity of 15 people (restricted access).
the 3-hectare grounds: protected gardens and parkland, with century-old trees, will appeal to your guests for large-scale events, with or without a marquee, up to 400 people (north courtyard 600 people max). We do not have a back-up room of this capacity. Dances and musical events are not accepted.
Your reception in Meudon (92)
On the hill of Meudon, the huge terrace of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL and the park dominate the course of the Seine and the wooded surroundings. The spaces enjoy unobstructed views of Paris and its monuments. Dances and musical events are not accepted.
Only available: outdoor areas covering more than 30 hectares.
Visits to Nançay in Sologne (18), 200 km from Paris
The Nançay site, Observatoire Radioastronomique de Nançay, is linked to the activity of the cosmos thanks to its instruments. No disturbing waves are allowed on site. Authorization is granted with the agreement of the site director.
